Voice of The Ether: I designed the Voice of the Ether website as a living portal, equal parts grounded and cosmic. My goal was to weave together Melissa Joy’s essence as a healer with a digital presence that feels like homecoming.

Brand Translation: I translated Melissa’s story and energy into visual form, using turquoise, white, and earth tones; soft spirals and celestial motifs; and typography that balances timeless elegance with intuitive flow.

Layout & Flow: I structured the site for ease and resonance, guiding visitors through an intuitive journey from introduction and offerings (Ether Sessions, Soul Spirals, Moon Whispers) to booking and deeper exploration. The navigation is simple yet expansive, offering clarity without losing mystery.

Copy Integration: I infused poetic, soul-led copy that conveys both Melissa’s grounded mysticism and the tangible substance of her sessions. This kept the site from feeling overly “fluffy” while still honoring the unseen.

User Experience: I built in functionality for session booking, sliding-scale accommodations, and optional Zoom recordings, ensuring accessibility and flow for seekers.

Energetic Design: The textures, spacing, and imagery reflect warmth and sacred safety, like moss, vintage sunlight, and barefoot ease, allowing the site to feel like an extension of Melissa’s healing field.

In essence, I didn’t just design a website. I crafted a sacred digital sanctuary where clients can feel Melissa’s presence before they ever book a session.

Built with full ADA compliance, enhanced SEO, and custom-designed forms, the site not only reflects the brand’s personality but also ensures an inclusive, seamless experience for every visitor.

Modern Priestess Collective: I designed and built the Modern Priestess Collective website as a fully immersive digital experience that reflects the brand’s soul. The site was crafted to feel like a sacred space: warm, mystical, and inviting, while remaining intuitive and easy to navigate.

My work included:

Strategic Site Architecture: Creating a clear, flowing navigation that guides visitors through offerings such as astrology readings, Reiki, courses, circles, and the signature Moon Medicine subscription.

Custom Interactive Features: Developing the Venus Portal, an interactive tool where visitors can enter their birth information to discover their Venus sign, immediately engaging them with personalized insight and encouraging deeper exploration.

Visual Brand Translation: Bringing the brand’s golden, sacred aesthetic to life with warm tones, textured backgrounds, moon and flame symbolism, and aura-like overlays to evoke reverence and devotion.

User-Centered Design: Ensuring the site invites visitors inward, making them feel seen, held, and curious, while leading them toward booking sessions, joining community offerings, or engaging with devotional writings.

Seamless Integrations: Embedding booking flows, email opt-ins, and blog content (Substack) to unify all touchpoints under a cohesive brand presence.

The result is a website that embodies intimacy, mysticism, and empowerment, aligning deeply with the ethos of The Modern Priestess Collective: devotion as a way of life, remembrance, embodied wisdom, and feminine sovereignty.

VEZZA STUDIO: I designed and built the Vezza Studio website to reflect the brand’s identity as a maker of functional art. My goal was to create a clean and modern layout that highlighted the handcrafted nature of the products while making the shopping experience intuitive. I chose a minimal color palette that allowed the ceramics and resin pieces to stand out and paired it with typography that feels approachable and artistic.

I organized the site to balance storytelling and functionality. The homepage introduces the brand’s personality and values, while the product pages focus on clear photography and simple navigation to encourage browsing and purchasing. I also optimized the site for mobile, ensuring the design feels seamless across devices.

Throughout the process, I focused on translating Vezza’s unique aesthetic into a digital space that feels personal and welcoming while supporting the practical needs of an online shop.
VEZZA STUDIO
Grillgasms: When I took on the Grillgasms project, my goal was to reflect Nick’s passion for slow smoked, soulful Southern barbecue while making the site feel personal, appetizing, and simple to navigate.

First, I crafted the homepage to pull visitors right into the Grillgasm® experience. I opened with bold, mouthwatering copy like brisket so juicy it melts, ribs with the perfect bite, and sides that taste like Grandma’s house so people don’t just read the page they feel the flavor. I paired that with images of Nick in action behind the smoke, turning fire into pure joy.

I developed a clear navigation system that guides folks instantly to what matters: menus (catering and meal prep), ordering, reviews, recipes, blog, and FAQs. I meant for it to be effortless for customers to see what options are available and take the next step.

The booking page is a key piece. I built a focused request form that walks users through their event details like event type, guest count, protein and sides preferences, and service style with a friendly, conversational tone. Phrases like “Let’s plan the perfect spread” and “free consultation” make it feel like a chat, not a form.

I wove the brand’s voice throughout with a casual, playful style that shows love in every bite. The Grillgasm® and Grillpower® definitions are front and center. I made sure they’re showcased in a way that feels vibrant and fun.

Imagery is a big focus. I selected photos of Nick grilling, of the smoky meats, of the porch scenes, and of guests enjoying the food. It’s authentic, mouthwatering, and human.

To bring everything home I added social proof sections with glowing reviews that reflect Nick’s warmth and professionalism. I included a newsletter signup so the site can turn visitors into the Grillgasms family.

Finally I made sure the site reflects movement and energy with phrases like “no lines, no hassle,” “Book Your Grillgasm,” and “BBQ that hits different” so every visit feels like a live BBQ experience.
